Classical cryptology at play
The program is aimed at those who wish to undertake the study of classical cryptography. It is essentially an educational software program that graphically illustrates the transformations that a comprehensible message undergoes to become unintelligible and thus be transmitted over an insecure medium. This phase is called encryption. The legitimate remote recipient performs the reverse transformation, making the message comprehensible again. This phase is called decryption. Encryption and decryption are performed by people in friendly correspondence. They have previously agreed upon everything necessary to perform these two operations.
Classical cryptology at play allows for the encryption and decryption of short messages in a completely graphical and dynamic manner. In encryption, all the transformations of the clear message that lead to the encrypted message are visualized. The same is true for decryption.
The ciphers or algorithms present there number over a hundred and required approximately 115,000 lines of instructions. I spent over 3,000 hours on this work, and over the years, part-time, I dedicated almost a decade to it.
Ciphers are grouped into: special alphabets, monoalphabetic, polyalphabetic, reversible, polygrammatic, tomogrammatic, OTP, superencryption, transposition, homophonic, nomenclators, steganography and finally the Serenissima ciphers and codes.

The current version is: IV-MMXXV. For recent MS Windows operating systems.
The program is continuously updated.
The program is not dangerous and, with a little care, can be downloaded and installed.
The major software companies hinder these operations NOT because they have verified that the software is dangerous, but rather because it is rarely downloaded!
